So, back in 1973, two brothers - Bogden (18) and Dorian (10) - decided to play hide and seek on Tom Sawyer’s Island after hours. When they got tired of hiding, they hatched a bold plan: swim across the Rivers of America to escape without getting caught. One tiny hiccup though - Dorian couldn’t swim. Young Robert was having a blast swimming at Disney’s River Country spot when a tiny amoeba took a detour into his nose, then straight up to his brain. The results? Not good. Doctors called it meningoencephalitis, and Robert sadly passed away. His family won a lawsuit, and the infamous water park eventually closed for good.
