Hey! Ready to dive into some super cool city sketches? Artist Ian Fennelly takes everyday spots - streets, boats, bridges, and random corners - and turns them into lively, colorful art that almost feels alive. His secret? A mix of pencil, ink, and watercolor that’s loose, confident, and full of charm. Ian’s sketches don’t care about perfect photos; they capture the vibe, the textures, and the energy you feel when you stop and really look.
He even runs a fun sketching course that’s all about slowing down and soaking in the world around you, not just nailing the technique. Starting with bold watercolor splashes to set the mood, then adding pen and brush to bring in the good stuff - details and character. The results? Sketches that feel fresh and real, like stepping right into the scene.

Hector was a star model - calm, steady, and even enjoyed the spotlight. That is, until Boris the other donkey walked by and stirred up some drama. Yeah, Boris is a great name for a donkey, just saying.
