Hey there! So, here’s a cool thing: Alexandra Malyshko stuck around in a war zone in Ukraine and kept painting. Yup, real superhero vibes! She’s been navigating the wild ups and downs in her mind while making art that’s kind of a big deal.

When things went full-on scary in 2022, she felt like a robot on empty. Nights with no sleep, nonstop anxiety, and missiles zooming overhead like unwelcome fireworks? Yeah, not fun.

She even got scared to take a shower because air raid sirens were a nonstop soundtrack. Tried escaping the city with her daughter, but the tension sneaked along like a clingy shadow. Eventually, they came back home because, weirdly, that felt safest.

Feeling like her warm, fuzzy feelings were drying up, she hunted for something to make her feel human again. Spoiler alert: nature ended up being her BFF.

By diving into the wild beauty around her, Alexandra found her spark again. She's not a saint, but the pieces of her lost self are slowly coming back together like a cool puzzle. Through her art, she’s breathing life back into her world.

Some of the paintings you’ll see are old friends, others still wet with fresh paint. All of them shout inspiration and a big hello to your walls.

Wanna chat or swap stories about tough times? Alexandra’s all ears and open heart. Drop a comment if you've braved your own storms!
