Ready for a cool art adventure? We're diving into The Wild Within at Leila Heller Gallery!
From November 11, 2025 to January 15, 2026, this solo show by Ryan Koopmans and Alice Wexell is all about nature crashing the party in old, forgotten places.
These two artists snap photos and blend them with fancy 3D digital magic to turn abandoned buildings into wild hangouts for plants and light. Imagine vines sneaking through cracked walls and sunlight playing peekaboo over dusty floors.
Inspired by super old art styles, they mix real and dream worlds to tell stories about change, memory, and nature’s comeback tour.
Their work spans some seriously exotic spots - from palaces to temples and villas - all now looking like nature’s new playground.
You’ll see all this as both photos and cool looping videos, with a soundtrack that adds to the vibe, thanks to Swedish composer Karl David Larsson.
If you like art that’s a little dreamy and a lot wild, this show’s got you covered!
