Greg first heard about Fox Tale Sanctuary a while back and was pretty much hooked on their mission right away. It didn’t take long before he reached out to see how his camera skills could help show off these amazing foxes and support the folks taking care of them.

Taking photos of foxes in their home turf wasn’t a walk in the park. Greg had to be super patient—some foxes wanted to say hi, others preferred the mystery vibe from a distance. Often, he had snacks just out of the frame to lure them closer, making for some epic close-ups. Building trust was key—Greg spent plenty of time just hanging out and letting the foxes get comfy before snapping shots.

One fox that really stuck with Greg is Zoe, the calendar cover star. She came to the sanctuary after a rough start—hurt and scared—but bounced back like a champ. She even played fox mom to some tiny kits, earning the nickname “Mama Zoe” for her big heart and fierce care.

Besides making you go “aww,” Greg hopes the calendar opens eyes about what it really means to care for a fox. These aren’t your average pets—they’re wild creatures who belong in sanctuaries or the wild, not a backyard or a living room.

Want to help out? Grabbing a calendar is a cool way to support the sanctuary. You can also donate or even sponsor a fox if you’re feeling extra generous. Either way, you’re helping these sneaky little fluffballs live their best lives.
