Spencer Cammarano is one of those fancy record-keepers. He goes to events and decides if someone actually smashed a record. Fancy uniform included.

Spencer says, “I walk around in my official uniform and feel pretty cool.” Meanwhile, some of his team review stuff on computers back at headquarters - no uniforms, just sitting comfy.

Another wild gig? Being a mystery shopper. That’s right, someone gets paid to sneak into stores and see if the staff are being nice or just phoning it in.

Brett Payne, a former mystery shopper, said it’s basically tattling on employees - but sometimes they just want you to say the right catchphrases, like "Have a Blaze day" at that pizza place.

Turns out, tattoos and stretched ears helped Brett blend in perfectly. Employees chatted away thinking he was just another customer.

Plus, there are legit sites listing mystery shopping gigs, but watch out - some are total scams.

Gigs can range from shopping for a new phone, snapping proof pics, to rating movie theaters or ski resorts. If you're good, you might end up mystery shopping on fancy cruises someday.
