Hey, check this out! Apple just launched their first foldable iPhone, and people can’t stop roasting it. Let’s dive into what everyone's buzzing about.

The new iPhone Duo has a 5.4-inch screen on the outside, but fold it open and bam! 7.6 inches of screen real estate like a tiny tablet. It’s made with fancy titanium, has a powerful chip, and even ditched Face ID for Touch ID. Sounds cool, right? Well, wait for it.

The catch? The price. It starts at $1,999 and can go up to a jaw-dropping $3,199 for the fanciest model. Yeah, that’s more than a lot of laptops. Folks online aren’t holding back: some say it’s a tiny tablet that wants way too much money, others call it a luxury badge more than a phone.

Even the tech biggies like Samsung and Motorola jumped in to poke fun, saying things like "iPhone Duo is just reheated leftovers" and "new in their hands, iconic in ours." Duolingo cheekily chimed in about having a phone named after it that's folding over, too. Somebody’s having fun.

But there are a couple of neat things, like a standby mode that turns the cover into a clock or photo frame, and the fold crease is almost invisible (unlike some of its noisy competitors). Still, many people say it feels like two phones awkwardly stuck together or "an iPad mini chopped in half."

Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus, says this foldable “redefines” the experience. Fans? Not quite ready to buy the hype just yet. Will this be fan favorite or expensive paperweight? Time will tell! Meanwhile, the internet is having a blast roasting it, and we’re here for the show.
