Nearly 30% of Gen Z in the US proudly identify as LGBTQ+. That’s a big crew! Older generations? Not quite as many, but hey, progress looks like this!

Picture coming out. Maybe a heart-to-heart with your besties, or a goofy tweet online. Everyone's different! A big survey says most people have told their friends, but some are like, "Ehh, I’ll keep this one a secret," especially with family or coworkers. Whatever floats your boat!

People figure out their LGBTQ+ identity at different times, too. Lots know before age 14 but wait to spill the beans. Younger folks today tend to come out earlier than older generations did. Talk about setting trends!

Even with all the strides, not everyone feels totally accepted. Most gay, lesbian, and bi folks feel pretty good about society, but many nonbinary and trans friends are like, "Umm, not so much." We still gotta work on that big time.
