Kids, Wild Animals, and a Crumbling World: Kevin Peterson’s Paintings Are Wild and Weird (In a Good Way)
Hey, here’s something cool: Kevin Peterson paints kids and wild animals hanging out in abandoned, run-down places that look like scenes from a post-apocalypse movie. These spots are all cracked walls, rusty factories, and nature slowly taking over. But the kids and animals? They bring a weird mix of innocence and friendship that’s kinda comforting.
Kevin’s from Nevada but bounced around a bit before settling in Texas. He studied art and psychology (aka, he’s pretty creative and knows a thing or two about feelings). He actually worked as a probation officer before serious adulting took a turn, and after some tough times, he got back into painting full-time. Now this guy’s work is all over the place, even on a Red Hot Chili Peppers album cover!
